Stochastic Nmr Spectroscopy

چکیده
Among the different forms of spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) shows an intimate connection between theory and experiment. NMR therefore enjoys great popularity in the development of new methods. Following the rapid development in electronic and computer technology, NMR techniques evolved from singlechannel to multi-channel and multi-dimensional modes. The original continuous wave (CW) method (1-3) was extended to two dimensions with the introduction of double resonance (4-6). The CW techniques were replaced by corresponding multi-channel methods because of signal-to-noise improvements resulting from broadband excitation. The routine NMR methods are now one-dimensional (ID) (7,8) and too-dimensional (2D) (9-13) Fourier transform (FT) spectroscopy. The excitation energy is focused into a few pulses per experiment and the spectrum is computed from the experimental data by ID or 2D Fourier transformation. A conceptually more difficult method is

Metabolomics-Based Study of Logarithmic and Stationary Phases of Promastigotes in Leishmania major by 1H NMR Spectroscopy
Background: Cutaneous leishmaniasis is one of the most important parasitic diseases in humans. In this disease, one of the responsible organisms is Leishmania major, which is transmitted by sandfly vector. There are specific differences in biochemical profiles and metabolite pathways in logarithmic and stationary phases of Leishmania parasites. In the present study, 1H NMR spectroscopy was used...
متن کاملStochastic Liouville equations for femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy.
Electron and vibrational dynamics of molecules are commonly studied by subjecting them to two interactions with a fast actinic pulse that prepares them in a nonstationary state and after a variable delay period T, probing them with a Raman process induced by a combination of a broadband and a narrowband pulse. This technique, known as femtosecond stimulated Raman spectroscopy (FSRS), can effect...
متن کاملA Markov model for relaxation and exchange in NMR spectroscopy.
A two-state Markov noise process for lattice fluctuations and chemical exchange dynamics is used to derive a stochastic Liouville equation describing the evolution of the spin-density operator in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Relaxation through lattice fluctuations and chemical exchange processes is incorporated into the theory at the same fundamental level, and the results are valid...
متن کاملMacromolecular NMR spectroscopy for the non-spectroscopist.
NMR spectroscopy is a powerful tool for studying the structure, function and dynamics of biological macromolecules. However, non-spectroscopists often find NMR theory daunting and data interpretation nontrivial. As the first of two back-to-back reviews on NMR spectroscopy aimed at non-spectroscopists, the present review first provides an introduction to the basics of macromolecular NMR spectros...
متن کاملThermodynamic study of Ion pairing in Aqueous solution of 〖BaF〗_2 by (_^19)F-NMR
The ion-pair association constant values, related to the reaction + were determined by means of the NMR spectroscopy. The values of the thermodynamic functions of the ion pairing process were calculated on the basis of the NMR results. In addition, the association entropy was found to be dependent on the temperature. Comparing the experimental data and the Fuoss theory it is found that ion-pa...
